April was one of those months where everything started clicking..
I spent a lot of time locked in with the MPC Sample, knocking out a batch of new beats and dialing into a faster, more instinctive workflow. At the same time, Episode 4 of Audicratic Audio is out, and I dropped a full YouTube review breaking down Reason 14 and its new features.
A lot of creation, a lot of momentum—and this one feels like it’s building into something bigger.
Episode 4 Out Now
Episode 4 of Audicratic Audio features a conversation with Nef—a producer and engineer working closely with DJ Premier and connected to names like Statik Selektah and Termanology.
We get into his path from getting in the room with Premier to working on tour, plus a real discussion on hardware vs. software—MPC workflows, Pro Tools sessions, and what actually matters when you’re making music day to day. There’s also insight into how relationships in the industry really form, and how opportunities build over time if you’re in the right spaces.
If you’re trying to understand how this world actually works behind the scenes, this episode is one to tap into.
Reason 14 New Features Video
I also dropped a full breakdown of the upcoming release of Reason 14—and this is shaping up to be one of the most meaningful updates in a long time.
I’ve been hands-on with the beta, and the biggest takeaway is how seamless everything feels. The new features aren’t just flashy additions—they actually improve the workflow in a real, day-to-day way. From updates in the sequencer to new creative tools, it all adds up to a faster, more fluid experience inside Reason.
If you’re already a Reason user, this is one to pay attention to. And if you’ve been on the fence, this update might be the one that pulls you in.
MPC Sample Playlist on YouTube
I started building out a dedicated MPC Sample playlist on YouTube.
These are quick, raw ideas—nothing overthought—just me using the MPC Sample the way it’s meant to be used: fast, hands-on, and focused on feel. Instead of letting those videos get buried in the feed, having them all in one place makes it easier to tap into that vibe and see the progression over time.
If you’ve been curious about what the MPC Sample can actually do—or just want a steady stream of new beats—that playlist is the best place to start.
Throwback Beat Videos

Toward the end of the month, I started digging back into the vault and posting some throwback beat videos.
While I’ve been wrapping things up behind the scenes and getting everything lined up for what’s next, it felt like the right time to revisit some older work that still holds up. A lot of these ideas never really got a proper spotlight, so bringing them back gives them a second life—and keeps the momentum going while I’m building in the background.
If you’ve been following for a while, you might recognize a few. If not, it’s a good chance to hear where things were and how they’ve evolved.
That's a Wrap!
More on the way soon—appreciate you being here.
