I’ve been wanting to do a full studio tour for a while. Here’s a full walkthrough of my home studio and the gear I use for music production and content creation.
Over the past few years I’ve been building and refining my home studio — the space where I make beats, record vocals, and film most of my content. After moving into this house a couple years ago, I slowly worked on turning one room into a space that supports everything I do — making beats, recording, filming content, and running the Audicratic Audio podcast.
A lot of that work happened throughout 2025. I treated that year as a bit of a recalibration period where I focused on getting everything set up the right way before pushing harder on content.
Now that the space is dialed in, 2026 is the year of content.
In this video, I walk through the entire studio and talk about the gear I use, the artwork on the walls, and how the room was made as both a music production studio and a space for filming content.

The Story Behind the Studio
This room has slowly evolved into a space that reflects both my music and the history behind it.
There are pieces of artwork, posters from shows I attended years ago, and projects I’ve worked on throughout my career. Some of these things go all the way back to the early 2000s, and they’ve followed me from place to place.
A few examples include:
Posters from underground hip-hop shows I attended in the early 2000s
Signed records and albums connected to projects I’ve worked on
Artwork from collaborators and friends
Personal pieces like drawings and prints tied to songs I’ve released
Over time the walls have become a kind of visual timeline of my music career.
A Mix of Music, Culture, and Personal Interests
Not everything in the room is strictly music-related. A big part of making the studio feel right was including things that reflect other interests too.
For example:
A steel tip dartboard setup that appears in the background of many of my beat videos
Old concert posters and hip-hop memorabilia
Skate deck artwork from Pig Food Records releases
A few gaming setups including a retro gaming system built on a Raspberry Pi
These little elements help make the space feel more personal and also create interesting backgrounds when filming content.
My Studio Production Setup
At the center of the studio is the desk where most of the music production and editing happens.
The setup includes:
Multiple monitors for workflow and organization
An Apollo Solo audio interface for recording and playback
MIDI keyboards for playing melodies and chopping samples
A DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera used for filming content
A few different lighting setups for beat videos and studio footage
The monitors allow me to keep different tasks separated — production, browsing, and file management — which helps keep the workflow smooth when working on music or editing videos.
Monitoring and Referencing
One of the biggest challenges with any home studio is mixing in a room that isn’t acoustically perfect.
Because of that, I rely heavily on referencing mixes across multiple systems, including:
Studio monitors
Headphones
Bluetooth speakers
Car tests
AirPods and other everyday listening setups
Referencing against other professional songs is also important. It helps keep things grounded and prevents mixes from drifting too far off balance.
A Studio Built for Content
The room isn’t just for making music anymore. It’s also designed to support the content I’m creating — including beat videos, tutorials, and the Audicratic Audio podcast.
Lighting, camera placement, and the background elements were all considered so that when I hit record, everything already looks good on screen.
That preparation took some time, but now the studio is finally set up in a way that makes creating content much easier.
Looking Ahead
After spending a lot of time building and refining this space, I’m excited to finally put it to work.
2026 is going to be a big year for new content — including:
Beat videos
Studio breakdowns
Podcast episodes
Behind-the-scenes looks at music production
This studio tour is just the beginning.
